What language

What language should I use when submitting formal documentation?

The main language used by business in Denmark is English.  You can fill out forms and registrations in either Danish or English. Some registrations and applications require that you submit formal documentation. If your original documents are in Danish or English. If your documents are in any other language than Danish and English, you must translate them into one of these two languages. The translation can be done by you or by a third party.  For some professions, however, it is not sufficient for you to translate the documents yourself. In these cases, you must commission a certified translation of your documents before starting your business in Denmark.
